Pruszków is a city along the western edge of Warsaw. It was the location of the German transit camp for Varsovians during/after the Warsaw Uprising. It was also the location of a meeting between the Soviets and Poland‘s Underground Government at the end of the war. The Soviets called the meeting to map out the future of Poland and then promptly arrested the leaders of the underground movement and shipped them to Moscow for show trials.
Just curious if anyone has visited the city, the Dulag Museum, the memorial/villa where the underground government was arrested, the war memorial or other sites there. I‘m trying to decide if it is worth some of my short (3 days) Warsaw time. Given that I like standing where history happened, I think it will make the cut but am interested in hearing from anyone who may have been there.
