I want to see where my grandparents came from - a small village near Rszesow. Does anybody have the name of a company or reputable driver who could take us there for the day? Any idea of cost? That person would need some English.
One thing to consider is that you can easily get to Rzeszów by train from the main station in Kraków (and it's worth staying overnight if you can). If you need a private driver for the whole journey, Andrew Durman has been recommended on this forum many times. Just Google him.
thank you very much for your quick reply!
I found his website...here it is:

You won't find a better man than Andrew Durman! He's knowledgeable, personable, professional and reasonably priced. Be advised that he does book up quickly. Spend a day with Andrew and you will leave Poland with a new friend!
We used Andrew for a one day trip from Krakow to Zawoja and he was wonderful in every resepect. He is quite popular, so contact him soon!
More than a reputable Driver, Andrew is a very valuable resource in Poland he can also help with tracing family roots, etc. Our experience with Andrew a couple of years ago was terrific. We found him on this website and contacted him right away. He keeps in touch and is very professional, timely, reliable, informative, not enough adjectives to cover his many talents! He is reasonably priced to boot! Definitely would book him again and am currently thinking of doing just that for a trip to Warsaw next year!
