Planning a visit to Poznan sometime in June - July. Is this a good time of the year to visit during warm weather? Looking into staying in a nice hotel hopefully with swimming pool and amenities. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated, also what attractions are a must see or do! Thank you.

May would be better if you can swing it...summers are hot. You'll be looking at business hotels if you want a pool. Look on Tripadvisor and this link for things to do.

Interesting comments. Two questions: 1. Does anyone know a guide service to recommend for Poznan and 2. My grandparents came to the USA in 1880 from near a town called Sroda, which is about 30 miles southeast of Poznan. Does anyone know that area? Thank you.
