Poland Voltage Plug Thingy

Just verifying the voltage plug needed for Poland. Several in my collection are labeled "Northern Europe" and/or NW 10. I am thinking that these will work, but just trying to be sure. I am seeing posts about "E", but mine are designated as NW 10. They have two prongs and are round.

Thanks for the help. I am but 5 years old......lol.

By voltage plug thingy, are you talking about converters, which change fhe electrical voltage going to your device? Or are you talking about an adapter, which just allows you to plug your device into a different type of outlet?

I think you are referring to adapters. I'm not sure i would trust any adapter that didn't have labels that used the accepted international names. Perhaps this will help: https://www.worldstandards.eu/electricity/plugs-and-sockets/

From what I see, NW 10 is a proprietary model number for a Conair set of adapters. If it has two rounded prongs it should be equivalent to types C and E.

Thanks for the response. Yes, the adapter is what is in question. I have used the NW-10/Northern Europe before in Europe......but I have never been to Poland. All I see is the "E" label when I Google, but no listings for "NW-10" markings. I have a couple of sets...one of which came from RS, so I know they come from reputable places. My last trips were to Ireland which definitely uses a different adapter. I am thinking NW-10 is the same as "E".....just has been relabeled?????? I would rather know pre-trip.

@markcw. Bingo! Thanks! Googled "Conair". That's the set I have and it looks "right".....definitely mine looks like the "Northern Europe" labeled adapters. I have used them before........but like I said Poland is new turf. The fewer "uh-ohs" once one arrives......the happier the travels. Ha!

Outlets in Poland are exactly the same as those commonly used elsewhere in Europe. The Rick Steves Continental Adapter is a good solution in Poland and elsewhere.

Poland is a wonderful place. I hope you enjoy your visit!
