Where can I buy tickets online for Oscar Schindler’s enamel factory museum?
They've changed the online ticketing process since my 2018 visit, but this appears to be the official website: https://bilety.mhk.pl/?lang=en
Yes. I finally figured it out. Thank you!
Just to add to this, I found the museum to be quite intense, and had I known that, I would have broken up the visit into 1/2 one day, the remaining half the following day.
With all due respect to periscope, I found the museum to be perfectly manageable in half a day.
NOTHING to do with time required, I was just overwhelmed by the presentation and wanted more time to process it all. Hey, that was me.
As I recall, the museum had quite a lot of subtitled videos available to watch. I always watch things like that; fortunately, most people do not, so I rarely have trouble getting access to the monitors. Time required at the museum would be a lot shorter if you didn't watch the videos.
I think one's reaction to this museum depends on how familiar one is with the Holocaust. I've done years of research on it and WWII in Poland, so I'm not the type to tear up in Auschwitz. One does get a bit desensitized to these horrors, but it also gives me more reason to write and talk about it. So few Americans or westerners know the story of Poland in WWII.
To balance it out and get a more complete picture, try to visit the Museum of the Armia Krajowa which tells the story of the Polish Home Army.
