Dear travelers,
I paid for two travelers by night train from Budapest to Krakow on PKP Intercity. I received only one ticket, with no indication of two travelers, no compartment # and bed #. The total cost is 659 in polish currency (around $170). It is a one-way ticket. Everything is in Polish which I don’t understand.
I am confused. Is this normal? Is there a place I could call to verify?
Presumably you bought the ticket(s) online?
Was it the railroad site or something else?
Does the site you used not have a "FAQ" or "Contact us" feature?
With a few more details someone may be able to help.
You can use Google Translate for the Polish. Then if you still have questions, you can post both the Polish and the translation here.
Does the train offer both seating AND sleeping compartments, or is it ALL sleepers. Did you make a seat and or compartment selection when buying the ticket - perhaps that step was missed?
take a picture and post a link
Now you can even translate through photos. For example, using Google Lens
