Lublin & Majdanek guides

Please does anyone have recommendations for old town Lublin and Majdanek extermination camp?

Majdanek site has guides for 300 Zloty (English) which is slightly more than what I would like to be paying as a solo budget traveler.

[Alternate question, if anyone is around mid-September, maybe we could split cost of a guide?]

Open for wisdom and knowledge and ideas. Extra credit if you know anything about Korolówka, eastern edge of Poland by Belarus. That's another question, if I should try to go to my grandmother's possible ancestral home. Transportation there looks like it is not easy without a car, so that would be another expense.

Thanks Tomasz. When I asked, Majdanek staff replied by email that they didn't know if there would be another group going that I could join. I ended up reserving a tour --- a little apprehensive, I heard it's very raw. But honestly I guess the good thing about being one person, is that if I can't handle it, I can leave.

Anyway, tour is reserved for 9/16/25 -- if anyone wants to join, please message me. If you want to contribute to price great, or if you don't, perhaps you can donate to Ukrainian cause or something similar.

No Lublin tour since they are all quite pricey. I guess I'll stumble around and try to figure things out on my own.
