I may have time to do a day trip to Lodz form Warsaw, but it would be on a Monday when the museums are closed. Since a couple of y'all have recently encouraged a trip there, what do you think of going on a Monday? Still a worthy destination?

Aren't museums going to be closed if you were elsewhere (Warsaw, etc.) as well? If so, then no loss. If they are open elsewhere on a Monday, then switch your dates around so you can go to Lodz when they are open. The only museum I've been to in Lodz is the Cinema Museum, and I did enjoy it.
