Krakow to Budapest ticket for overnight train

I went on Germany's train reservation website as the German one is said to be the best. I tried to reserve tickets for the overnight train from Krakow to Budapest, but it said I would have to do it in person. Does anyone know how to get train tickets ahead of a planned trip?

thanks

That's right, German Railways cannot sell that Polish train ticket. And neither can... The Polish railways themselves, at least not online, according to Seat61 (authoritative train travel resource, in Europe and elsewhere). An agency called Polrail is recommended. Never used it myself.

I used PolRail for my night train from Krakow to Prague last fall. Their email communications were timely and clear. Their quote and booking process was easy to use. They helped me choose the type of seat/compartment I wanted. And they arranged to have my tickets delivered to my hotel in Krakow a few days before my arrival so that they were waiting for me - which I also communicated to the hotel and pre-arranged with them.

I highly recommend and would use PolRail again.
