I expect to be in Krakow in early December. Does Krakow have Christmas Market(s)? If so, where? Are they unique or typical of German/Austrian Christmas Markets?
Poland has several traditional central European Christmas markets in most of the major cities and towns. Krakow's is right on the main medieval market square (largest in Europe).
We were in krakow a few years ago and did so much shopping, we even surprised ourselves (my cousin and I, our husbands sat and had drinks). Anyway, the point I am trying to make is that if we had so much fun shopping in July, I can’t imagine how great it would be at Christmas.

Krakow's is unique because it also hosts an annual contest for Christmas nativity displays. People build them all year and compete. They usually have moving parts and can be huge!
