Kazimierz Dolny

In the next month or so my wife and I intend visiting friends in Kazimierz Dolny in Poland.

We will probably fly into Krakow from London and train it from Warsaw to Amsterdam, where we will visit more friends. (Our starting point is actually Bangkok. We will be going to London first).

I am having some difficulty finding out how to get from Krakow to Kazimierz Dolny and from Kazimierz Dolny to Warsaw.

As far as I can tell there is no train to or from Kazimierz Dolny. Would a private transfer service be best?

You can find transport info here: https://wikitravel.org/en/Kazimierz_Dolny

Puławy Miasto looks like the closest train station. Taxis are inexpensive.

This link seems to work for trip planning in case you want to take a minibus from Warsaw (just put in the origin and destination into the fields, as well as date): https://en.e-podroznik.pl

I also think it's very easy to drive there if you're willing to rent a car. Obviously more expensive option than train/taxi or minibus, but more flexible.

Also, Warsaw to Amsterdam by train is going to be a very long ride (> 10 hours). Are you sure you don't want to take a shorter flight instead?

Many thanks Agnes.

Yes, you might be right about flying Warsaw to Amsterdam, although if time permits I thought we might stop off and do Berlin on the way.
