Hi - 'Traveling between Krakow and Warsaw via train mid day on a Thursday in October. I'd like a window seat to watch the countryside go by.
Do I need to buy a train ticket with reserved seat in advance? If so, how's the best way to do this. First or second class is ok.

Yes, I noticed fewer seat choices are available the later you book. So you are better off booking in advance if your care about a specific seat. I booked mine 2-3 weeks in advance for Torun-Wroclaw and there were plenty of seats to pick from.
