Hotel in Gdansk

I am deciding between Hotel Admiral and Hanza Hotel in Gdańsk for 3 nights. Any recommendations between the two? Thank you.

Last week I stayed at Hotel Hanza and really enjoyed it. I had a room facing the water and promenade. Lots of foot traffic during the day and evening, very quiet at night and early mornings. The sunrises over the water were stunning.

The breakfast area has indoor and outdoor seating and a very nice buffet spread. There is an elevator.

The staff were very friendly and helpful before and during my stay.

I stayed at Hotel Admiral the first week of April. It's on a quiet side street just off Fishmarket Square, so you aren't aware of the touristic traffic until you walk out into it. The Hilton is just a block away, so it's a good neighborhood.

I was told that Rick Steves tours stay there. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet, which is served in a large attached former restaurant space, was amazing.

I had two excellent meals at Restaurant Polpietro, which is just around the corner.

I recently stayed at the Hanza Hotel. Our room had a view of the river. The hotel has a great location and the room is nicely appointed. The breakfast buffet is excellent. I recommend it highly.
