Has anyone had any experience hiring a car/driver to take you from Krakow old town area to Prague. My understanding is it take about 5 hours 30 minutes by car and costs around $275 but I am not positive about this and don't know what company to trust. It would be just my wife and myself. Would appreciate getting names/websites of reputable companies to check out.
Hi, i used company bekrakow on way from Krakow to Dreseden but they also offer transfers to Prague. We drove with Lukasz (he is a owner) speaks good english i can recommend him. I have his email [email protected]
I took czech-transport.com from Prague to Krakow and had a very good experience. For a fraction of hiring a car you can catch their van across the street from the Krakow train station which takes you to Ostrava in Czech Republic. There you transfer to a train that goes directly to Prague. Purchase your ticket on their website, print it out, and that's all you need for both legs.
