Getting from Prague to Warsaw, Poland....low cost flights or trains?

We are planning on spending 4 days in Prague prior to joining a group in Warsaw, Poland.
There are 6 seniors in our group. We have not used trains in the Czech Republic and
need recommendations for air transportation or train travel and purchasing tickets.

The German Rail (Bahn) does not sell tickets, particularly discounted advance purchase tickets between two points outside Germany, but they do sell them from Prague to Berlin for as low as 39€/person and from Berlin to Warsaw for 29€/person. That trip (through Berlin) can be done in as little as 8½ hrs.

There are many trains with one change in Ostrava. It takes 8 hours 14 minutes. The best seems these two: leaving Prague at 7:36 arriving Warsaw at 15:50 and leaving Prague at 9:36 arriving Warsaw at 17:50. There is one direct train (overnight) leaving Prague at 21:53 arriving Warsaw at 8:28. You can find schedule for all trains at Deutsche Bahn website.
Or you can fly. The cheapest ticket in September is $237 by Czech Airline. It takes 1 hour 30 minutes. I found it on Skyscanner.

None of those train options would bother me. I use 8 hours on a train as a chance to read a book and eat my picnic. You can buy the ticket via Ostrava at a train station or travel agency in Europe, for probably $75 per person in 2nd class. But if you can find a reasonable flight price at www.skyscanner.com for your actual travel date, then you might prefer that "shortcut."
