We are planning on spending time in Wroclaw and Krakow in December. I am a meteorologist and understand the fog issues with airports like Krakow. I also understand that Wroclaw has an ILS system that is better than Krakow but not as good as Warsaw in fog. With that being said, what do experts suggest on flying into Wroclaw vs Warsaw. Is Wroclaw an easy airport to get through? The option is Wasaw, then a train to Wroclaw. Also, we will fly into AMS from ATL and then to CPH where we make the final connection to Poland. As always, thanks in advance for any additional guidance you can provide.
Wroclaw airport is easy to get around. I flew in from FRA last December for a long weekend with no issues. And yes, the visibility was limited. You'll clear Customs / Immigration in Amsterdam, so that's not going to be an issue. You can take the train into the city, but I got a cab direct to my hotel. It's about 35-40 minutes from the airport. If you pay attention you'll start seeing the elves on the ride. Can't speak as to Krakow, but here's my take on Wroclaw in December.

Fly to the airport in the city you want to visit.
If anyone should know, you should, that you can't predict the weather this far away. Wouldn't you feel silly flying into Warsaw when the weather that day was clear and sunny in Wroclaw and Krakow?
If the weather is that bad, the plane will either divert or not go. But who's to say the weather could be bad in all three cities.
