As I recall it was a pleasant drive of about 30 minutes, midday, to the main tourist drag. Traffic was busy but not frustrating. We had a ride waiting for us, but next time I will just get a taxi. Its not a big or intimidating airport. Much of what you want to see as a tourist is walkable, otherwise the bus/tram lines are pretty efficient.

Bear in mind that Warsaw has two airports - Chopin (WAW) and Modlin (WMI). The time you need to reach the city centre depends on which one you're flying into as well as time and day of the week.

What are the traffic conditions in Warsaw like?

Compared to other capital cities, I would say pretty mild. The link you provided has all the answers to your questions - just read the text.

"Modlin Aiport, also known as Masovia Airport, is located 36 km north of Warsaw city centre."

Thanks all! :)

Yes, but I need to know the traffic situation, because I have an important engagement, I would not be late.
