Family New Year's Eve in Warsaw

Taking 9 year old and 16 year old sons plus 25 year old daughter for 6 nights in Warsaw which happen to include New Year's Eve. Any ideas? We are foodies and we drag boys everywhere. They're good sports so, we're open minded. Please help! Thanks

Here are some ideas:
1. Centrum Nauki Kopernik (Copernicus Science Centre) - good for children, teeangers and adults.
2. Muzeum Powstania Warszawskiego (Warsaw Uprising Museum) - museum dedicated to perhaps the biggest resistance operation including civilians during WW2. Very moving also for foreigners, branded one of the best museums in Warsaw.
3. Krakowskie Przedmieście and attractions around for a nice walk:

4. Old Town and Royal Castle
5. Another great museums in Warsaw, but dedicated to individuals, so you have to have some interest, are: The Fryderyk Chopin Museum and Maria Skłodowska-Curie Museum
Let me know if you are looking for something more specif, I will try to help.

I would also add the Museum of the History of Polish Jews which is a sobering and significant part of the city's history (unfortunately it was being constructed at the time I was there, so I could not see it). It will likely be cold and gloomy in Warsaw at that time, so it's a good idea to have indoor attractions lined up.

Very much agree with the Warsaw Uprising Museum. We were in Warsaw a few weeks ago and visited, and it was excellent. Might be a bit heavy for your 9 year old, but is definitely very well done.

For restaurants, I would suggest Folk Gospoda. We went the first time we visited Warsaw several years ago, and it was on the top of our list when we returned this week. Excellent food and fun atmosphere. Family friendly, so no problem taking the kids there.
