Events in Warsaw, Krakow, Praque in Spring

Just by accident, our trip to Berlin occurred during the Illuminate Berlin festival , which was amazing. Now starting to plan for a spring trip to Praque Warsaw and Krakow . Any festivals, art shows, FIRE WORKS that I should know about to hopefully catch. ( will not be there for Easter or Holy week)

Also any not-to-be-missed would be appreciated.
thanks

You'll have to consult event calendars for each city online...I'm not sure whether the Chopin piano concerts in Lazienki Park (Warsaw) begin in Spring or Summer, but those are worth checking out if you happen to be there at that time.

I hope you have a nice stay in Krakow - when it comes to spring events (particularly around Easter), try: Emaus church fair at the abbey of the Norbertine Sisters in Zwierzyniec. The first Tuesday after Easter is when there are some pagan celebrations organised under the Krakus Mound – during the old-Slavic holiday of Rekawka. There will be faithful re-enactments of medieval battles, stalls with traditionally-prepared dishes, some old rituals and craftsmen workshops happeing during the day. Try going to Netia Off Camera Festival – in 2017 it will take place between April 28 and May 7. There will be over 100 carefully selected films and performances in Krakow then. April will be closed with the 16th edition of PZU Cracovia Marathon (April 30). These are only the big events, obviously. May, June and July have them much more!
If you visit Krakow, try taking a tour to Wieliczka and Auschwitz (with Discover Cracow operator maybe?) - they're are UNESCO World Heritage sites and places not to miss. Cheers!

Classical music festival called Prague Spring happens in Prague every May. Big fireworks show and competition takes part in Brno every May and June. Brno is the second largest city in the Czech Republic. It is certainly worth visit. About 2 and half hours from Prague by train. It's on the way to Vienna or Budapest. Check this website:

"It (Brno) certainly is worth a visit." How true! I'm doing exactly that the end of May next year for the second visit.
