Early arrival at Krakow Glowny

My wife and I are visiting Krakow in May, arriving by train at about 0530. I understand the left-luggage office at Krakow Glowny station is closed until 0700.

Are the luggage lockers in Krakow Glowny large enough to fit our bags? My bag is Rick’s Rolling Carry-On; my wife’s is about the same size.

Since it’s our first day in the country, we will likely be arriving without local cash, certainly without coins for the lockers. I’m sure we can find an ATM, but are there merchants in the station that might be able to change a bill at 0530? A cafe open at that hour?

If I recall correctly from using it on a 1:30AM bus arrival in 2011, there is a bank's ATM on the outside of the bus station.
