Wow, James! Thanks - I've been agonizing over how to do our Krakow-Budapest transfer. Not excited about Polski Bus and didn't really want to shell out the money for the private transfer. Great information!!!

The downside is that there are some pretty spectacular places between Budapest and Cracow. For me it would be a round trip, so i would drive up, spending a couple of nights along the way (fly fishing) and fly back. Slovakia is just too beautiful to fly over.

I see next year's trip shaping up nicely! I've been wanting to return to Poland, loved Krakow, and of course I must spend time in Budapest every trip.

Christa here is an interesting trip.

  1. Arrive Kyiv
  2. Kyiv 3 Kyiv 4 Kyiv to Lviv on UIA for about $70 5 Lviv 6 Lviv 7 Lviv to Krakow by train (7:05 am to 1:10 pm). I believe less than $20. 8 Krakow 9 Krakow 10 Krakow to Budapest on LOT 11 - 30 Budapest
