Covid travel advice

Hi my wife and I are visiting Poland at the end of September but one of my wife's vaccinations is the one not accepted in Poland (from India) .She has recovered recently from covid so is supposedly able to visit Poland and websites confirm this but apart from proof of this via an email we have nothing official. We can get no help via government website or NHS website so are worried we will get turned away on arrival in Poland. Can anyone confirm the restrictions from Poland's point of view as we can't find anything online.

Hi thanks for your reply..sorry should have said from UK. NHS app says to log in and get confirmation of recovery on your app but only has confirmation of vaccinations. Looks like we are going to need to contact our doctor to see where we go with this but I think we are going to have to cancel the holiday. We were really looking forward to it so it's very disappointing but hopefully next year, once again really appreciate your reply. Take care

What does your certificate/app say? People who got one dose of Covishield and one dose of Vaxzevria reported that they got through Polish border OK because their NHS app/cert said Vaxzevria. It's two doses of Covishield that is a problem.

And btw, Poland does not require evidence of any vaccine certificates or tests before boarding a plane - this is not checked. If your vaccination certification is not accepted on arrival you either leave on the next flight home or go into 10 day quarantine. Unfortunately arrivals from the UK do not have the option of a negative covid test - this is only available for arrivals from the EU/Schengen Area.

Hi thanks for the info. We have since found out that Poland will accept the app. proof of covid recovery which we have now found so hopefully shouldn't be a problem. Thanks again for taking the time to reply.

Hi regards the above ...just to confirm regarding entry to Krakow..we need either proof of vaccinations or recovery from covid ..a passenger locator form. That's it?
On return we need a negative test within 72hrs of flying and proof of booked day 2 test plus locator form?
Sorry for being a pain but could anyone recommend a testing place in Krakow itself rather than the airport. Much obliged.
