We will be traveling throughout Poland for 9 days including hotels, breakfasts some dinners & some tours; how much Polish money do you think I'd need for taxis, food etc?
Thanks,

You can pay for most everything other than small incidentals with a credit card (I would start by manking a list of what you think you may need cash for that you won't be able to pay for with a card). Poland is not expensive so there is no need to take out large amounts of money. I would just take out a small amount initially (maybe $40-50 max equivalent), and use the ATMs as you need them on your trip. If you get stuck with zloty at the end, you won't be able to use them anywhere else.
Hi Agnes, we have to take a taxi to/from the airport, can we pay with a credit card and how much would that be?
Thanks,
Jean
Which airport from where?
The taxi charge would be based on the airport and the final destination, but I would think that your tour guide or your lodging establishment can give you an accurate answer of what you can expect to pay. I am not sure taxis are all equipped with credit cards or if they prefer cash (don't they all? LOL 😆), since I hardly ever take them (and definitely not in Poland because my family can pick me up).
Oops sorry, Warsaw airport to Sofitel Warsaw Victoria and from the Vienna House Andel's Cracow, Krakow, Poland!
Thanks again,
Jean
In Krakow, 20.00 USD tip included.
I hope this is obvious, but don't try to pay the taxi in USD. Get local currency for an ATM or Google the airport or Tripadvisor to suss out whether most taxis take credit cards.
