Best of Poland Laundry Options?

A question especially for those who may have been on the Best of Poland tour, most especially this year. Are there any laundry options available during the tour? At any of the hotels, since most are several nights? I am just packing for departure in a couple of days, and so am wondering how to pack. Trying to keep it light.

Thanks!

Hi Jim. We were on the tour recently and we walked from the Chopin Hotel where you will be staying to a laundromat called Pralnia Samoobslugowa. (I only remember that because I took a picture of it!) It might also be called Technodry but that’s next door and is more of a laundry service. We carried our clothes in our small backpacks and I had laundry soap sheets of my own but I think they had detergent for sale as well. There was an American guy and a British guy in there too so it seems popular with travelers. You can ask at the hotel for directions to get there. We walked through part of the park which was nice. Very fast washers and the fastest and most efficient dryers I have ever seen in my life haha. We set the dryer for 15 minutes and figured we would see how the clothes were and keep adding more time but everything was dry! The machines take credit cards and there’s a nice coffee shop a few doors down with indoor and outdoor seating. Enjoy the tour, it was really great!

What @saf describes above sounds like the laundromat I used while staying at the Chopin Boutique, but I thought it was named Speed Queen 24 - search on Speed Queen Laundromat and you will find it - there is a chain of them in Warsaw. It was a very pleasant walk through the park near the lodging, next to a full service dry cleaner, with a Costa coffee a few doors away. Cleanest laundromat I've ever encountered, with a high tech control kiosk that had an English menu. It's quite close to the Chopin Museum.

Yes that’s got to be the same one. The coffee shop right there was Costa Coffee. The laundromat seems to have multiple names! And as I was thinking about it more there’s no way our clothes dried in 15 minutes. It must have been 30 minutes and we were going to add 15 minute increments as needed but when we checked everything was fully dry. . But either way you won’t need to start with a lot of time for the dryer anyway.

Not in Poland, but I've been happy with Speed Queen laundromats in other locations in Europe. Clean, easy to use, and fast.
