Auschwitz Entry Pass and ID Name

Hello!
I booked a tour for an organised group - 15 people - at Auschwitz (booked direct). I realized that when I received the entry passes, I put shortened versions of some names. For example, "Gabe" is on the entry pass, but ID says "Gabriel", and "Ray" is on entry pass, but ID says "Raymond". Does anyone know how strict they are with name matching and if they will allow it?
Also, is it possible to change names (just to make sure it's the full name, not transferring tickets)?

Thank you!

Every kid in Poland knows to put their full names on official documents, not shortened names or nicknames which are only for family and friends, so what you did is completely inexplicable, but maybe they will be lenient.

You can certainly check with them, but rarely do places examine that close as long as the name makes sense (some version of the first name, and surname matches) you will be fine. All they are trying to do is stop wholesale reselling of tickets.

Hi,

Use this email address to contact a member of the museum staff if the address previously provided does not net a result: [email protected]. Include your confirmation number, and explain the issue. Your entry passes will be reprocessed and a new pdf with entry passes will be sent to you.

I inadvertently used the incorrect name of one person when I booked a private tour for seven people for a tour earlier this month. I wrote and explained the error, and re-issuing the passes was no issue though it did take about five days to be fully sorted out.
