Apartment in Krakow

Can anyone recommend a really good apartment in Krakow that is very convenient to the center? I want it to have 2 bedrooms, a nice sitting area for relaxing, and a small kitchen.

I am taking my granddaughter to Amsterdam for 5 nights, then Krakow for 4 nights as a 16th birthday present. After 5 nights in a hotel, I thought it would be nice to offer her a separate bedroom.

I am currently holding Magnetic Apartment with Fragola Apartments. But I received the following info from them: you must collect the entrance card at the reception desk at ul. Saint Jana 2/6. The reception is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Please inform us of your expected arrival time so that we can arrange the handover of your access card accordingly. WE ARE NOT A HOTEL - we rent individual apartments in residential building.
(NOTE: I have not contacted them to let them know my flight is scheduled to arrive at 2230, but this concerns me.)

Has anyone had late night experience with Fragola (they get good reviews on booking.com)? Or a good experience staying at an apartment where there was no concern about late night arrival?

I will search AirBnB and VRBO now. I have used AirBnB many times with good luck.

Fingers crossed and many thanks for any advice.

I don’t have any experience with these apartments but the language wouldn’t concern me. Although I would absolutely confirm it, I imagine they have a lockbox setup they can use for late arrivals.

If you like the apartment, I would ask.

Not worth any additional thought until you can determine the extent to which they support late arrivals. It will be close to midnight by the time you arrive in town.

Thanks.

Agree I need to learn more from the company. I sent an email to the company, but no reply yet.

I found my apartment in Krakow on booking.com and it was great. That was some years ago so I did some checking and it's still on booking and still gets good ratings. Unfortunately when I went out to check availability I see that they don't have 2 bedroom apts, only 1 bedroom. Have you looked on 'booking'? You can filter for apartments rather than hotels and their reviews are generally more reliable than AirBnB and I trust them more. I have found apartments there for several cities in Europe and have always been happy with them.

We will be in Krakow in October and I booked an apartment through Booking.dot.com. It’s easy to filter to narrow down what you are looking for.

Interesting to read comments to the effect that booking.com reviews are more reliable than those on AirBnB. That's contrary to our experience. But everyone has their own unique take on stuff like this.

I agree with using Booking.com. I have stayed in two different one-bedroom apartments in Krakow, and each was wonderful. One thing to consider is that wealthy Ukrainians have been renting many apartments, which aren't available for tourists.
