Air Travel from Seattle to Gdansk then return from Krakow to Seattle

My wife and I will be on the Best of Poland RST in July of 2025. Can anyone recommend air travel from Seattle to Gdansk then returning from Krakow to Seattle?

I flew from Los Angeles to Gdansk and back from Krakow on KLM through Amsterdam last month - excellent flights in both directions.

It looks like your best choices for one-stop flights from Seattle are SkyTeam codeshares on KLM through Amsterdam or Star Alliance codeshares on Lufthansa via Frankfurt. It's way too early to think about booking, but you could set up an alert in Google Flights to get an idea of prices and connections. I would strongly suggest one stop flights.

I was originally thinking about an RS tour for this June, so I had an alert set up - around $1,000 would be a good price for mid-summer 2025. I paid less than $800 for April, plus fees for Economy Comfort seats.

Make sure to add a few days before and after the tour - for one thing, you'll need an extra day for Auschwitz from Krakow.

We are on the same tour the first 2 weeks in June. Flights are expensive in summer! We bought our tickets in February, and leave next Friday.

We bought tickets on separate carriers, because we are cheap and because we don’t check luggage. We got:
RT tickets between SEA and FRA on Condor,
then one way tickets from FRA to GDA on Lufthansa,
then KRK to FRA on Lufthansa.

We like to give some time in FRA so that we have some slack, and sure enough, last month Condor changed our SEA to FRA booking later an hour. I always figure that if I have additional time at FRA, I’ll go for a run or take the SBahn into the city and roam around. My husband would rather stay in the airport and sleep (they have sleep pods, also showers, especially nice after a run.)

I wouldn’t worry about booking until early next year.

I flew PDX to Krakow/Gdansk to PDX in April/May of this year. Looked into flying out of SeaTac but PDX was cheaper...and is closer to home. Delta/KLM had the best connections and prices at that time; I recall the schedules were very similar from either Portland or Seattle. The scheduled layover in Amsterdam was about two hours, which was plenty of time to make our connections (given that we arrived on time).
