7 days in Poland - Itinerary

I'll be traveling solo and have interest in the Easter markets in Krakow, the gnomes in Wroclaw, and the mountains in Zakopane. I realize the layout of visiting these three places isn't perfect (especially in only 7 nights), but I think it's doable. I will be relying on train/bus.

I am wondering about the following itinerary - this will be over Easter weekend (and the following week):

Wroclaw - 2 nights
Krakow - 2 nights (Easter Sunday and Monday)
Zakopane - 2 nights
Krakow - 1 night (fly out following day)

Thanks so much!

Have you confirmed the Easter markets in Krakow will actually be open on those days? If they aren’t, you will want to reconfigure and probably put Krakow first. If the markets are open after Easter, I suggest putting all 3 nights in Krakow together at the end.

And yes, you are right - with these three stops, you have backtracking going on any way you arrange it.

Hi MellyDelly, welcome.

Have you looked at what your flight options are? Last time I looked, a lot of flights to/from Krakow require a connection in Warsaw. If thats true, maybe consider doing Krakow & Zakopane first, then the train to Wroclaw. And from Wroclaw, you could take the train to Warsaw and fly out from there. Saving that backtracking to Krakow.

Where are you flying from?

Check if places you want to visit in Kraków are open on Easter.
