I just returned from a two-week tour of Poland and stayed in several good hotels. Warsaw: Chopin Boutique--had a spacious two-room suite with a Steinway piano in the living room. The evening piano concert was delightful. Gdansk: Sopot Marriott--right on the Baltic shore, lovely spa, nice restaurant. Krakow: Bachleda Luxury--lovely room, cozy bar area, delicious restaurant.
Thanks for the report! And thanks for using this section correctly!
Thank you very much!
May I ask which (if any) guidebooks you found helpful. It's a dream of mine to return to Poland.
I based my itinerary on the Rick Steves Poland guide. Not every single hotel or restaurant--but I loved all of the cultural and sightseeing details.
Thank you! It sounds like you had a great trip.
In Krakow, I stayed in the Hotel Polski in 2024. It was probably my second favorite of seven hotels in a seven-country, two-week visit to Central Europe.
