I read that there is an express train (more expensive) and a "local train", both going from the airport. How do we fine the less expensive train in the airport? What is it called? Any information will b e helpful as we're in our 70s and will be very tired after a long flight.
Here is a web site that describes the two train options:
https://www.visitoslo.com/en/transport/transport-airport/oslo-gardermoen/
The express train (Flytoget) runs every 10 minutes, takes 19 minutes to the city center, and costs NOK 190. There is a senior fare for 50% off, but I don't know if that is valid for non-residents. (https://flytoget.no/en/)
The NSB train runs less frequently (every 30 minutes or less) and takes 23 minutes. The fare is NOK 101. I don't see any mention of a senior fare on their web site (https://www.nsb.no/en/our-destinations/airport-by-train).
