We are doing NIN from Bergen to Oslo and would like to spend the night in Flam. Any suggestions? Doesn't seem to be much available. We will be traveling with our 11 month old.

This summer I'm staying at the hostel in Flam with my family (young children in tow). It gets good reviews. There aren't a ton of options and the hostel was a good price.

We're going to be staying in Balestrand - a short ferry ride away from Flam and very low key. We are staying at the hotel recommended by RS in the book...Balestrand Hotel? Family run and they have been lovely so far to set up the experience. Good luck!

I stayed at the Flam Marina & Apartments - a little walk from the boat dock. Great view, roomy apartments (with kitchenettes). Reasonably priced considering there aren't many options in Flam (we booked through Booking.com)
