Hi all. We leave for Oslo on Monday and have tickets for the Bergen train on Thursday morning. I see right now this train is not running due to flooding. Any idea when they will start up again? We have friends who had to fly from Bergen to Oslo becasue that was the only way they could get there. Starting to get a little nervous as there are five of us. Will the train be open to Myrdal/Flam and then we could take a ferry from there? Any help or guidance is appreciated. Thanks!

Who knows? The line is closed between Oslo and Myrdal so that won't be an option, but you can take a coach from Oslo to Flåm and then continue by train.

August 15. From Vy’s online train schedule, it looks like they expect to have all five trains from Oslo S to Bergen Station up and running on August 15. August 14 trains are either canceled or have the route partially replaced by buses. There are still tickets for 8/16 on the 16:25 train and almost all trains on 8/17. Vy.no/en has updates for the specific trains affected.
