We are taking a cruise up the west coast of Norway in June. How much rain should we expect? What are the temperatures in various areas; Bergen and various places even above the Article Circle. What types of clothing are recommended.

I have been to Norway in the end of July and it varied but it was cool. I would layer, bring a rain jacket with a hood, at least one pair of jeans, and one sweater or hoodie or sweatshirt and then some long sleeve tops and short sleeve tops and a scarve. Remember you will be on the water and it is always colder on the water than on land. And it will most likely be cool on land too. Norway is very casual and very scenic. Bring at least two pairs of shoes, one being sneakers. Just in case one pair gets wet, you have the other pair and let the wet pair dry out. Bring a small pair of binoculars if you have them and a good camera with a good zoom lens. Norway has the most beautiful sweaters too, so you may want to buy one. They are very expensive, but I wear mine every winter since I went to Norway and will have it for ever! Have a great time!
