In early May we will be making a round trip from Gothenberg Sweden to Stavanger (the city where my grandparents were born) after picking up our new Volvo in Gothenberg.n It is a 9 1/2 hour drive via E18 and E39 and we would like any suggestions on a place to stop for 1 night enroute. Also information on the Horten-moss ferry that is on this route such as reservations and scheduling. A few years ago we took the Hurtugruten tour from Kirkenes to Bergen and the Norway in a Nutshell from Bergen to Oslo so Stavanger is the focus of this trip. After returing the car to Gothenberg for shipment to U.S. we plan to take the train to Copenhagen and return to New York from there.
