I asked recently about Uber in Norway and it sounds like ride share is not really available there.
I understand that English is good but I still enjoy the convenience of the Uber/Bolt apps. Is there anything like that for taxis? That way you can be sure about addresses, times, duration, cost, etc. An Internet search turns up some stuff but I can't tell easily how real it is.
I'll get some numbers of taxi companies in the cities we're visiting but an app would be great.

Where in Norway? It's quite common for taxi companies to have websites that allow you to order a taxi and see the price. E.g. https://www.oslotaxi.no/bestilling
Although if cost is important, you need to stay away from taxis in Norway.
We found uber worked fine last summer in Oslo, Trondheim and Bergen. Maybe not a zillion cars at all times with only 1 minute waiting but we got what we needed for normal tourist things. Also Oslo and Bergen have great public transit and apps you can use those too.
From a Facebook travel group I'm getting that I should get an app for taxis called Taxifix. It supposedly works throughout Norway and gives you an Uber-like interface to taxis. Grain of salt, I haven't tried it yet.
