We finish our RS tour on Sept 12 and then fly from Bergen on Sept 15. Renting a car and wondering what more we could/should see with a couple of days before returning to the Bergen airport. Thinking of the Setesdal Valley or maybe east towards the Hardangervidda National Park, a different fjord? Thank you everyone for your ideas.

I don't have an answer to your question but I'll add something I wish they included in the tour info. The flights back to the US from Bergen tend to leave at a really early time in the morning (like 6am). There are many more flights from Oslo, often at better fares. On the forum I found out about the Norway in a Nutshell (NiN) tour that has ferries, trains, buses, to get you back to Oslo from Bergen. And you'll see fjords on the ferry. By the time I found out about this the NiN tour with a stopover half-way was sold out, but it may be something you want to look into since you have more lead time.
