Trollstigen in September

Dear,

Is there any public transport options to travel from Geiranger to Trollstigen (onwards to Andalsnes) in September?

The available tourist bus closes by Aug 21. Is it likely to be extended?

The local trip from Andalsnes seems to leave before the first bus from Geiranger (through Sjholt) or Alesund reaches Andalsnes.
