We are planning the last 4 days of our trip following a Rick Steves 14 day from Stockholm to Bergan tour and appreciate any help or suggestions. Over the 4 days, we would be traveling from Bergan and flying out of Copenhagen. Any help with suggestions on best way to travel by Car, train. or plane and see Norway, south of Bergen and Denmark, west of Copenhagen.

I was driving these areas a few times with my own car - example photo from Ryfylke in May 2023.
Three answers needed for better answer:
- Did you check cost of one-way car rentals Bergen - Copenhagen in total or minimum Bergen - Kristiansand (S) and Hirtshals - Copenhagen?
- Which time of year?
- Special interests?

Yes, we did check the cost of rental car between these locations, and it is cost prohibitive for one way rentals
Traveling June/July
Interested in seeing as many scenic sites as possible in the 4 full days we have available. Avid Hikers.

Consider taking the OSLO-COPENHAGEN overnight ferry. Everybody seem to love it.

Thanks to all who responded to the initial post.
We decided the best way to see the area and travel from Bergen to Copenhagen in 4 days was to go the bus/ferry/train option.
Day 1 - Take the bus and ferry from Bergen to Stavanger. Stay in Stavengar overnight
Day 2 - Take the train from Stavanger to Kristiansand, then the ferry to Hirtshals, Stay in Hirtshals overnight.
Day 3 - Take the train from Hirtshals to Copenhagen. Stay in Copenhagen overnight.
Day 4 - Enjoy Copenhagen. Stay in Copenhagen overnight.
Day 5 - Flight out of Copenhagen.
Now we just need to narrow down the list of things to do/see with the limited time we have in each of these places.
Does this plan sound reasonable?
