Transit from Andalsnes to Geiranger

We are planning a two-week trip to the Norwegian fjords via trains, busses, and ferries this fall. We are going to be arriving in Andalsnes via Dombas on September 5. We then want to get to Geiranger next, with the idea that we would eventually take the ferry from Geiranger to Alesund. Using the Entur trip planning website, I see that there is a public bus operated by Vy Buss, the VY25, that leaves Andalsnes at 9:00 a.m. and arrives in Geiranger at 12:00 p.m. on September 6. However, the Vy Buss website hasn't been working so I can't verify this. I also saw on some post online that this particular bus stops running at the end of August. Does anyone have any insight on this? Also, if this bus does not run in September, does anyone know of another way of getting from Andalsnes to Geiranger? We don't want to rent a car as we would prefer a bus or train.
