I am attempting to make train reservations for Oslo to Myrdal the first week in July. I have Rail passes so need only the reservation part. The Scandinavian rail site is giving me fits by showing nothing available -- do I need to call Norway and get the reservation directly with nsb.no? Is that even possible? Clock is ticking and the stress is killing me! ...;-)

You should call to find out what is happening. When you say first week in July, are you looking at travel dates starting the weekend beginning Saturday 08 July? That would be the first weekend to start Fellesferien and a lot of Norwegians may be heading for their mountain huts. https://www.timeanddate.no/ferie/fellesferie

Rail Europe has the second-class reservations available for that week. If you have a 1st-class pass, you can get a reservation for free at a Norwegian train station.
