We are going to spend a couple of days up in the fjords and then will be taking the train from Flam, then Myrdal to Oslo. Does anyone know whether we can stay on the train all the way to the Nationaltheatret stop in Oslo, or will we have to disembark at the central station and then get on another train?

We were just in Oslo. All the T-bane (subway) lines go through the National Theater station but train lins do not. You would need to transfer at the Central Station from train to subway. The National Theater isn't that far (maybe a 10 minute walk) if you rather not have to transfer and by a different ticket.
