What is the usual amount to tip a taxi driver?
Transit (metro, buses etc) is so good I have not hired a taxi in Norway.
What about servers in restaurants?
I asked a server during my first trip to Norway. She explained that they are paid a living wage and tips are not required by are appreciated. The rounding up is a polite way to tip and anything more than 10% excessive.

No tips for cab drivers (nowhere in Northern Europe). It will be awkward if you try to tip.
No tips expected on restaurants but appreciated. Anything more than 5% is excessive and a 20% tip is ostentatious and inappropriate.
