Any suggestions for a casual meal after a long flight? It seems many places are closed on Sundays or only open for dinner. Thanks!
Maybe have a look into Scandinavia Reviews: Hotels & Restaurants.
Not a dining suggestion, but a shopping suggestion. The Fretex thrift store in Stavanger (or any other Norwegian city that has one) is a great place for authentic Norwegian sweaters and textiles at bargain prices. Fretex is the name of the Salvation Army stores in Norway and they usually have great finds.

My favorite restaurant there is closed on Sundays:( However, take a look at Boker & Borst. They have small plates, pastries and sandwiches. There is the main dining area as well as a patio tucked in the back, which is where we sat. It is open every day.
I like breakfast or lunch at "Bak til Livet", also closed on Sundays.
