We are wondering if this is a doable itinerary or any suggestions regarding our trip.
Being in a town and using planes and trains as listed is doable. As mentioned, one connection has no direct flights, therefore I recommend to reorder destinations. Airport pages by Avinor list direct domestic connections.
Thinking about taking an overnight ferry from Bergen to Alesund, we would love any input on doing this in Mid September.
Also any recommendations for good guides and tours in Oslo, Bergen, and Tromso.
Thank you!
For your trip from Oslo to Bergen, I would recommend you do Norway in a Nutshell rather than taking a direct train all the way.

September is late for ferry companies to still be doing the Geraingerfjord trip. Have you checked this? When we went in 2022 the Geirangerfjord service stopped at the end of August.
Tromso isn't very exciting city. I would spend more time in Alesund or take the Atlantic Road to Kristiansund and then the ferry from there to Trondheim.
The bus and train trip from Alesund via Andalsnes to Oslo is really scenic too if you don't want to fly everywhere.
I've taken the overnight trip from Bergen to Alesund on Hurtigruten, remaining on the ship for the trip into the Geirangerfjord. It was a beautiful trip, but I don't know when the Geirangerfjord side trips stop.
Hurtigruten: Only Northbound during summer sailing plan Jun 1 - Aug 31.
