Has anyone taken a boat or ferry from Stavanger to Bergen - if so, would you recommend this method of transportation?

I did reach out to our relatives in Stavanger, and here is their response:
There is 3 ways to travel to Bergen By ship ,that comes from Denmark through Stavanger and going to Bergen. It takes close to 6 hours, but you can shop, eat and relax onboard. It costs arround 25 dollar a person, so a cheap and nice way to go to Bergen.
By bus 5,5 hours 2 ferries included. Cost arround 60 dollars pr person. And by plane 40 minutes in air 30 minutes from airport to downtown Bergen. Cost like 50 dollar pr person with if you book the flight early (like a few weeks before travel).
I would recomand the ship FJORDLINE You will see the coastline of Norway and the ship takes you to downtown Bergen.
