We love long-distance pilgrimages and are looking at the St. Olav's Way or the Tunsbergleden. Has anyone walked either of these? We're hoping to find a company that does all the planning (luggage transfers, accommodations) or else recommendations for those services and we'll cobble them together ourselves. We're headed to Norway mid-June 2024 for three weeks. TIA!
How much time do you want to spend hiking? St Olavsleden is almost 600 km so you won't be able to finish it in three weeks.
Finding a company that offers planned hikes is not easy, they are not common in Scandinavia. But I found two options on St Olavsleden.

Thanks, Badger, that's great! :-)
I hadn't had any luck finding anyone on my own, that's why I posted here, knowing much wiser and more well-traveled Norway folks are on this forum! We've done part of the Camino and all of the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage (used a walking company for the first, cobbled things together for the second) but it seems St. Olav doesn't yet have the infrastructure those two long-distance walks have.
We'll only spend a few days on the trail, just to get a taste of it (this time!) We definitely don't have time to walk the whole thing. I'm looking at Sandefjord - Tønsberg and Tønsberg - Åsgårdstrand (Borre). Looks like some fascinating Viking Age stuff to see there!
