Sognefjord ferries

Is there an official website for the Sognefjord ferries? I want to know the schedule for the last part of August and first week or so in September, (2022). Is there at least once-daily service from Kaupanger to Gudvangen during that period? Are reservations possible, or needed?

The not-necessarily-reliable Rome2Rio website thinks there are two sailings a day, at least on weekdays. It's essential when using Rome2Rio to keep drilling down till you find the name of the company running the trains/buses/boats and go to its website.

The operator of the Kaupanger-Gudvangen ferries is Kringom: https://www.kringom.no/

There may be information about reservations on Kringom's website; I didn't look.

Acraven, thanks for the info!
The kringom.no link eventually leads me to an entur.no site which seems to be a ticket vendor for the ferry service, and I can see ferry trips available up to Aug 31, but none in September… hmmm… maybe I just need to check again later. The kringom.no site has limited info in English but might be useful - strange, though, I can’t find the Kaupanger-Gudvangen route in the site: https://www.kringom.no/car-ferries.383978.en.html

Things are still not back to normal, I think. I'm nearly certain the coastal Hurtigruten ferries normally run every day in both directions, but when I checked a few weeks ago, they were not yet scheduled to run daily. And locals in some of the isolated coastal communities depend on those big ferries.

I'm not sure Kringom is the operator of the ferry route anymore. The route was closed a couple of years ago as new and improved roads have made it redundant. But it was revived as a summer only route that is mostly there for the tourists.
