How easy would it be to get to the car rental or airport in Sogndal by public transportation, either ferry or bus, to rent a car for a couple of days touring to the Geirangerfjord and return to the same place. I am planning to start my trip in Bergen. Travel the Hardangerfjord by bus and ferry, then down to either Flam or Balestrand. After returning the car would a flight to Oslo from there be better than taking the train up from Flam?
