I will be staying one night in the Snow Hotel Kirkenes with my two teenage children. The hotel offers transfers from the airport to the hotel at a total price of 1650 NOK. Would it be cheaper for us to get a taxi?
We also need transfers the next day to the Hurtigrurten dock which will also cost 1650 NOK.
Will a taxi be cheaper for both options? If so, are taxis readily available?
I don’t know the answer to your question. But if you are staying at the Snow Hotel, I am surprised they don’t offer transfer included (ok, I see it’s included till 4/30.)
Barents Bus is a cheap way to get from the airport to the center of Kirkenes and from there to the dock for Hurtigruten. But the Snow Hotel is a bit of a distance.

I am also wondering about transport to/from the Havila Voyage to Snow Hotel. The excursion is 1180 NOK (we are party of two). Perhaps this is not so expensive after all?
