Can anyone can share their experience renting from Sixt in Norway? We made an advance one-week car rental booking 2 months ago for mid-July with pick-up from Sixt Stavanger airport and return to their Bergen airport location because they have the most competitive price. However, I've seen some complaints that they tend to charge damages that weren't there or have very poor customer service.
I'm asking to have a more balanced view as people may tend to make more of an effort to leave negative reviews than positive ones, unless Sixt really has questionable or very poor practices in these locations, particular the one in Bergen.
With that said, would you still go with Sixt or with perhaps another brand that may be perceived to be more reliable like Hertz? Hertz costs >$200 more and on because our pick-up time is before their Sunday opening, they charge an extra NOK625. Whichever the case, we will try to really inspect and take photos of the car upon pick-up and return.
